A House Made Of Bookcases
Kazuya Morita Architecture Studio designed this bookshelf-lined house - called Shelf-Pod - located in the Osaka prefecture in Japan. All the of the architectural elements in the house (stairs, windows, desks, chairs, etc) have been designed as a bookshelf.
This innovative structural system affords not only a large amount of book storage, but the possibility of a flexible floor level which can be delivered from every height of the bookshelf.
